I have been cooking for most of my life. I started helping my Gramma, she was a fantastic baker, and we used to watch cooking shows together when I was very young. I catered for family and friends, went to school for Culinary Arts, and worked in restaurants for over 6 years. I continue to be a serious hobby chef at home, I love to try to make anything and everything and will try anything once.

All this led me to start making preserves. My favourite meal is "snacky dinner", as my family called it. Cheese, cured meats and little bite sized morsels. Chutney's, jellies, and apple butter are a delightful compliment to the right cheese.
